Mangos Indian & Bangladeshi cuisine

362-364 Ballards Ln, London N12 0EE, UK – 020 8446 5004

Ordered from here several times, making an order right now in fact! They're really good, kind, offer good discounts and often throw in extra bits and pieces. Good prices, will continue ordering from them.

Thought we'd try this out based on the reviews on here. Not disappointed! Food was really great and the waiter made some good recommendations when I couldn't decide what I wanted. 2 of us ate and we ordered a fair bit of food, and I was pleasantly surprised by the reasonable bill. Decor is nice and clean, very minimal and modern. Service was fast, and the staff are really helpful too. Would definitely recommend this place!

A friend took me there some time ago and I was satisfied with the quality of the food and services. I will be taking my family there soon

If you miss your Nigerian foods and drinks, you probably should stop by for a taste of home. Nice ambience for family or friends.

Da Franco Ristorante Italiano

30 Queens Parade, Friern Barnet Rd, London N11 3DA, UK – 020 8368 6224

Fantastic little restaurant. Really friendly and professional staff. Tasty food served in nice portions able to fill you up. Great deal for visiting. Parking spaces are easy to find in nearby roads where is no restrictions. I loved my visit there. We had a very important party and owner did it for us on fantastic way. Even he got cake for us which was awesome. I'm sure I'll be back there not only once

The best Italian restaurant in North London. Great food. Great service. Recommended for any occasion, any night.

Indian Rasoi Restaurant

7 Fortis Green, London N2 9HG, UK – 020 8883 9093

Always friendly and effective service and always great food. Will always recommend this place. Go enjoy!

Pleasantly Surprised! I had read a lot for reviews about the restaurant on line and many reviewers had recently been upset about the service, I rang and ordered a take away - I was told to expect it to be around 40 mins, when I got to the restaurant 5 minutes before time - I was politely asked to take a seat,(I also have to say that every table in the restaurant was reserved). I was only waiting for a couple of minutes before my bagged order was handed over. The food was great, I really enjoyed it. I would definitely use again. I think people need to recognise that perhaps the food cook time takes a little longer as everything tasted like it had been freshly prepared, not just taken out of the freezer. So if you decide to visit - be prepared for a longer wait on food as quality takes time! It's also not going to everyone's taste as some of the dishes do feel like they have a similar sauce base and the portions are smaller but personally I think just as filling.

Kiplings Indian Restaurant & Bar

2 North Hill, Highgate, London N6 4PU, UK – 020 8340 1719

My husband and I have been eating at Kipling’s for many years, the restaurant service is always great, and the takeaway is always delicious too. We can’t speak for the meat dishes but the veggie/vegan selection is brilliant and they’re always so friendly and answer any questions in a respectful manner. Tonight we sat and chatted with the staff while waiting for our takeaway and it reminded us what a lovely experience Kipling’s always is. Thanks as always!

Food is excellent , starters and mains were lovely! Don’t get desserts, arrived to our table still frozen and tasted funny. The waiters advised that the desserts weren’t made in-house which is fair enough but when we asked to change it for something else, they refused to and made a fuss about it! I thought this was bad customer service on their part.

Asoos Restaurant

828 High Rd, North Finchley, London N12 9RA, UK – 020 8445 4457

A lovely restaurant with very nice decor and lights. The starters are ok, the only downfall is that they put too much spices in the meat. The main course dishes are very good, much better than the starters. They also have a good choice of spirits and the draft beer tastes good. The staff are very helpful and provide good customer service. Thank you for a lovely evening.

A brilliant night out to celebrate a birthday. Delicious food as always and everyone enjoyed every dish. Hospitality like no other! That's going to come here again!😗😁

Best Reviewed Italian Pasta and Pizza Restaurants

La Rugoletta

59 Church Ln, East Finchley, London N2 8DR, UK – 020 8815 1743

Rustic cafe style pasta pizza etc. Just had mains decided not to have anything else, desserts did not really tempt. Quite tasty but unrefined menu. No licence so staff suggested we cross the road to small off licence/general store for wine or beer. Charged corkage for two cans of beer! Very friendly helpfull staff.

Great pizza and great calzone, and super fast service! I'm looking forwards to coming back. I hear the sea bass is amazing and I definitely want to try it. The pasta looks great too! Just so you know: this is a bring your own, so there's no wine or beer on the menu, which is great IMHO.

Carluccio's Brent Cross

Fenwick Ltd, Brent Cross Shopping Centre, Prince Charles Dr, London NW4 3FN, UK – 020 8203 6844

The service may vary from time to time, and can be poor if it was busy. Still a good place to grab for lunch if shopping at Brent X, with good quality pasta dishes, Most of the time. It is not cheap but there is a set lunch menu option.

Services was slow, food was not bad but little expensive for what we ordered.

Zizzi Finchley

202-208 Regents Park Rd, London N3 3HP, UK – 020 3719 4452

This review is mainly for customer service especially a lady called Jitka who was forever smiling and pleasant and probably one of the most hardworking members of staff. The manager of the branch was also very good and generally it set up great. The food was really good and the atmosphere is really relaxing. Would come back here again and again 🙌🏽

The rissotto was delicious and the sweet quite the same. The place is clean with a very pleasant atmosphere. The attention prompt and polite. Complete recipe. We will definitely go back.

Barnet Chinese Restaurants

Kaifeng Restaurant

51 Church Rd, London NW4 4DU, UK – 020 8203 7888

This is a unique place! Really wonderful food, decor, professional staff and good location. Well done!

The meal was excellent and the staff although not that attentive were very pleasant and had time to talk to us at then end of the meal which was a nice touch. Food was delightful and on a par with non kosher Chinese food (at better Chinese restaurants), but did feel the cost was quite high, but was happy to pay it as we had a really nice time.

Man Chui III Chinese Restaurant

84 Ballards Ln, London N3 2DL, UK – 020 8349 2400

Acceptable food, not great and not worth a repeat visit.. Quick service but felt like the waiting staff were a bit too attentive. Several of them seemed to be hanging around only metres from the table and constantly passing by. Overall it was ok and reasonably priced, good portion sizes but the dishes were all very similar and some didn't seem that fresh, the tempura was dry and looked like it had been standing under a lamp for a couple of hours. Could do much better in Finchley.

This is a really splendid restaurant, a jewel among the indifferent restaurants of North London. Sadly, a discontented and malicious customer has recently orchestrated a campaign of negative reviews which are fake news, pure fiction. What do you call a customer who tries to get away with not paying a bill of less than £9? The person eventually paid when threatened with the police. Now there are all these rubbish reviews by this unfortunate person and her louche friends (unless they are fake people, of course).

Xian Restaurant

862 High Rd, North Finchley, London N12 9RH, UK – 020 8445 8125

A really great little restaurant. Decor is slightly dated but service is friendly and the food is amazing!

Good food with good service.

Barnet Vegetarian or Vegan Restaurants

LEON

S3, Brent Cross Shopping Centre, Hendon, London NW4 3NB, UK – 020 8457 9300

Nice and healthy food and nice atmosphere in this restaurant. Pleasant staff. I really enjoy the morrocon meatballs.

I just ordered an Uber eats , I ordered the Leon baked fries, original hummus and lastly the vegan sweet potato falafel. The fries were not hot and didn't really do it for me. Hummus and flat bread is a standard combo so I wasn't really surprised by anything there, you can't really go wrong. But what really stood out was the vegan sweet potato falafel box, my taste buds were tingling and it also tasted very fresh. There was a lemon piece in the box which totally rounded of the dish well. Portion sizes aren't bad and delivery was great. All in all not a bad purchase. Will definitely be ordering again.

Wagamama

Brent Cross Shopping Centre, Prince Charles Dr, London NW4 3FP, UK – 020 8202 2666

Always have great service but was so impressed with our last visit and with Marco for being such a great waiter that I had to post my appreciation! So attentive and genuinely seemed to care about our experience. Thanks Marco! (Also the food was amazing as usual!)

Really delicious food and very friendly service. Highly recommend the Shirodashe Ramen.

wagamama finchley

Appetizing meals and fantastic services. Great value for money. If you are looking for a good quality Japanese restaurant, this is the place to go to. Will definitely return here after such a brilliant experience. A huge thank you to all the staff! You did an amazing job! Well done! Keep it up! You deserve many awards!

Regular place when I visit the cinema next door. Staff always friendly. And lovely food

The Claddagh Ring

10 Church Rd, Hendon, London NW4 4EA, UK – 020 8203 2600

Great pint of Guinness and wide selection of beers and cocktails. Inside is spacious with huge screen for watching sports. Outside seating overlooking a busy road so prepare to be polluted. Extensive pub food menu. No special offers.

It's cheap and the food is fantastic. The seating outside has heating lamps that you can put on. A good place for a night out

The Hendon

377 Hendon Way, London NW4 3LP, UK – 020 8202 6691

Friendly staff. Decent prices. Has a nice quite part to the place if you want a quiet night with your mates as well as snooker tables for a bit of fun.

The pub is quite large and divided up into various areas and would be nice but for all the TVs blaring out football. If your idea of fun is to sit qawping at a screen (they are everywhere in this pub) then this place is for you. If you want a conversation with your pint then good luck trying to find a noise-free corner. The bar staff are efficient, friendly and welcoming but the gents toilet is definitely not. It's surprising dark, grubby and badly laid out. I might pop in again if passing when there is no sport on the TV (does that ever happen?).

Joiners Arms

51 Ballards Ln, London N3 1XP, UK – 020 8349 3691

A very aptly named pub. Frequented by those in the construction industry. Like many pubs in the area the clientele is largely male but normally very good natured. Large open areas front and back. They have cheap meals of decent quality for the price.

Nice comfortable pub with good food and nice choicest of beer. TheCO2 was being delivered today so no problem with keg drinks.
